how does it work?
here's what to expect
From 38 weeks until your baby is here, I am fully committed to attending your birth, whether that's in a middle of the night, middle of the day, or anytime in between.
I aim to arrive at the hospital when you are in active labour. But, we stay in touch a lot beforehand and all throughout final weeks of pregnancy.
I stay by your side to capture all the first moments. I am with you throughout labour, birth and until about 1-2 hours after birth. Even if that means through the night and days, I am there for you.
FAQ
why should I hire a birth photographer?
You are about to embark on one of the most epic journeys of your life. Most moms will tell you that although birth is memorably intense, it can be hard to remember in detail. As your birth photographer, I will professionally document each moment of your quest to meet your baby so that you can treasure a collection of images from that day’s emotions for years to come.

when should I book you as my birth photographer?
I am currently taking two to three births per month; I recommend that you inquire during your second trimester at the latest so that we have enough time to plan and discuss your vision.
WHEN SHOULD I call you when i go into labour?
Please let me know whenever there is a change or you feel you might soon go into labor. Even if you think it is early, I’d rather have extra time to get my family ready and navigate my way through the Dubai traffic.
what if my birth takes a really long time?
I will join you when you are in active labor and stay with you throughout your birth. If at some point you decide to have an epidural, I will step out and stay close by until it is time to meet your baby.

do you use flash during the birth?

I prefer to use natural light whenever possible. That said, if during your labor we need an extra light source, I will use a flash that indirectly bounces off the ceiling,

how "graphic" will my images be?
I provide a collection of images that cover the full range of emotions representing your birth. Therefore, there will be some images that are more graphic than others. Some will capture your feelings, some the details of the day, and some the moment your baby takes her or his first breath and locks eyes on you. Although graphic, some images simply mirror the rawness and uniqueness of the moment.
what if I have scheduled CAESAREAN?
I will meet you at the hospital and capture the preparation for your birth. While in the OR and if the hospital allows it, I will be right next to you and your partner. After the birth of your baby, I will take pictures of you and your family bonding and the arrival of any family members who might join you to meet your baby immediately after birth.
WILL YOU SHARE MY IMAGES WITHOUT MY PERMISSION?
Once I deliver your birth gallery, we will discuss which images you are comfortable with me sharing on my website and social media. Even though the images are my intellectual property and thus copyrighted, I will always ask for your permission to share them.
